Celebrate Earth Day Kansas! This free environmental fair
gives everyone the opportunity to learn how to protect and
care for the world we live in. With hands-on activities and
interactive exhibits there are many learning opportunities
for children.

Eggstravaganza
Saturday,
March 22: 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Come one, come all and enjoy Easter activities throughout
the day! Meet the Easter bunny, participate in egg guessing
games and much more! Kids are encouraged to bring their
Easter baskets to collect goodies located throughout the
Zoo. A special activity for children with special needs
will be held at 1:00 p.m. Call 266-8276 to register for the
special needs activity. Regular Zoo admission applies,
members free with membership card and photo I.D.
Father’s
Day Car Show
Sunday, June 15: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Dads, grab your crew, put the pedal to the metal and cruise
on out to the Sedgwick County Zoo for Father’s Day. See
cool classic cars, antique autos and vintage hot rods while
exploring your favorite animal exhibits at the Zoo. Dads
are admitted free when accompanied by a paying child.

Saturday, June 7: 6:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Laughter and smiles fill the air for an evening of tasty
treats, games, tons of fun and a parade to end the evening.
Tickets go on sale beginning April 1. Tickets purchased in
advance are $15 per person. Tickets purchased the day of are
$17. Children 3 and under do not need a ticket.

to the Zoo on her special day! Visit our newest babies, our

24, 25 & 26: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Bring your ghouls and goblins for a night of
not-too-scary Halloween fun at the Sedgwick County Zoo!
Several ghoulish activities, like pumpkin bowling and
beanbag tosses, can be found throughout the Zoo. Take a
stroll down jack-o-lantern lane, creep up to candy stations
and let your spirit come alive! Tickets can be purchased in
advance at area QuikTrip Stores for $5. Ticket purchased at
the gate are $5 for Zoo members and $7 for nonmembers.
Adults and children 3 and older will need to purchase a
ticket. Children 2 and under do not need a ticket.

June 12 – Marcia Ball

cuisine. Winner of the 2002 Blues Music Award for “Blues
Album of the Year,” she also took home the 2007 Blues

What to Expect on
Concert Night:
The Zoo will close at
5:00 p.m. and the gates will reopen for all shows at
6:30 p.m. Zoo exhibits will remain open until the
concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
Cold drinks and food will
be available for your dining pleasure. If you decide to
bring your own picnic, remember no alcohol is allowed to
be brought in. Beer will be available at vendor
locations.
Bring your own lawn chair
and enjoy an evening under the stars.
All events will be held
on the originally scheduled dates. In case of inclement
weather, the concert will be moved to the Pavilion.
