Please Note: Sedgwick County Zoo will no longer be able to accept personal checks at the Zoo. We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause. However, there is an ATM located inside the main Zoo restaurant across from Cessna Penguin Cove.

– Children (ages 3 and under) Free

Schools
– School/Headstart $4.00
– Title 1 Schools (must show evidence of status and schedule a free learning program with the Zoo's education department.  Programs must be booked a minimum of two weeks in advance and are subject to availability) $3.00
– Licensed Child Care/Preschool $4.00
– Home Schools (Must contact and schedule with education department a minimum of one week in advance of visit. If less than one week, full price)  $4.00
Free Educators Resources
Download a printable activity page to be used at the Zoo. Make copies for your group and make learning fun!  Downloading resources does not qualify for Title 1 rate.  A free learning program must be scheduled through the Zoo’s education department.

Special Groups

Other Groups: (Must have at least 20 or more paying persons)

– Senior Citizen (ages 65+) $6.00
– Children (ages 4 - 11) $5.50

The Zoo will be closed one day only, September 8, to facilitate the preparation of the annual Zoo fundraiser, Zoobilee. For Zoobilee ticket information please call 266-8APE (8273).

Zoo Rules
Some animals may go off exhibit 45 minutes before closing time

The Zoo is handicap accessible

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult

Do not feed the animals any “people” food

Do not climb on railings, fencing or rocks

No smoking in buildings or animal walk-through areas

No pets

No alcohol

No bikes, roller blades, skates or skateboards

Be kind to the animals, plants and other Zoo guests

During your visit to Sedgwick County Zoo you might be photographed, videotaped or filmed. Your admittance to the Zoo serves as permission for use of your image by Sedgwick County Zoological Society. The commercial use of photographs, video and film you take during your visit is prohibited without written consent of Sedgwick County Zoological Society.
