bullet ZOO TRUNKS:
We’ve packed up the Zoo and it’s ready for classroom fun! Now you can add Zoo excitement to your lessons by using Zoo animal artifacts, videos, puzzles, games, books and much, much more!

Who? You! Teachers facilitate this Zoo program.
What? Zoo Trunks were created by teachers for teachers. All trunks are aligned to Kansas State Teaching Standards.
Where? Everything needed is packed and ready for your classroom!
When? Zoo Trunks can be checked out for a two-week time period.
How? Call the Cargill Learning Center Monday-Friday at (316) 266-8213 to reserve.
How Much? 
A thru Z Boxes - $5 each plus a refundable $15 security deposit.  Check out two boxes and your 3rd box is free through July 2007  
All Others Trunks - $20 plus a $50 refundable security deposit through July 2007

    ZooReach brings an educator to you for a 30 – 45-minute visit. Your program may include animal artifacts, stories, pictures and always includes an animal or two!

    Please schedule your ZooReach visit at least two weeks prior to your preferred date. Custom-tailored programs may be available with adequate advance notice. We can adapt most programs to any grade level or cover another topic. Multiple programs can be done on the same day.

    ZooReach in Preschools (ZIP) Ages 2-5
    These programs includes a finger play, animal related activity, and an animal visitor
    Where? At your place! We visit classrooms, daycare facilities, churches, etc.
    When? This program lasts 30-minutes
    How Many? This program works best with a group of up to 20 children.
    How Much? $45 thru July 2008

    This hands on preschool program includes animal artifacts, craft, animal video and story.

    When? This class is one hour long
    How Many: 1 classroom
    How Much:  $45.00 thru July 2008

    Learn about a specific animal through an interactive story, animal artifacts, and an animal visitor!
    Where? At your place! We visit classrooms, daycare facilities, churches, retirement homes, etc.
    When? This program lasts 30-minutes
    How Many? This program is designed for a group of up to 50 persons.
    How Much? $45 thru July 2008

    Classroom Adventures Grades K and above
    This program is an exciting adventure filled with animal artifacts, pictures, and an animal visitor.
    Where? At your place! We visit classrooms, daycare facilities, churches, retirement homes, etc.
    When? This program lasts 45-minutes
    How Many? This program is designed for a group of up to 50 persons. (1 or 2 classes combined)
    How Much? $45 thru July 2008

    Amazing Animal Assembly Grades K and above
    This program was specifically designed for large groups.  It includes LARGE animal artifacts and an animal visitor.  It is perfect for your next all school assembly!
    Where? At your place! We visit classrooms, daycare facilities, churches, retirement homes, etc.
    When? This program lasts 45-minutes
    How Many? This program is designed for 50 or more.
