Learning Adventures Cancellation Policy

Registrations for classes, events, or programs is not complete until payment is received. All reservations for classes, events, or programs are final. No refunds will be given if participant cancels a reservation for the class, event or program.

If Sedgwick County Zoo cancels a class, event, or program we will notify registrants in advance and offer a transfer to another class, event, or program or refund. For the safety and comfort of other participants, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone with a fever or who is noticeably sick.

Field Trip Programs including Backpacks
If your group is not able to attend your scheduled education program, you must notify the Education Department at least 1 hour before the start of your program. If no advance notice is given, the group will be charged a $10 service fee. Title 1 schools who do not show up will be billed for each admission as well as the $10 service charge. Fees will be invoiced to the school.

Field Trip Tours including Behind the Scenes Tours
If your group, or any part of your group, is not able to attend your scheduled education tour, you must notify the Education Department at least 24 hours before the start of your tour. This policy applies to each tour scheduled. If no advance notice is given, the group will be charged a $10 service fee per tour.Title 1 schools who do not show up will be billed for each admission as well as the $10 service charge. Fees will be invoiced to the school.
